BOOMERANG MEDIA.AM is independent international production company, based in Yerevan, Armenia. It develops and produces original IPs, feature films with a mixture of innovative, experimental storytelling and classical cinema approach.Our focus is set on such genres as psychological thrillers, mystery, documentary and detective serial formats.
Company was founded by producer, director and actress Zara Jian. Primary strategy is to grow company into a strong European and Armenian profile, enhancing female presence beyond the camera and leverage the visibility of Armenian cultural and cinematic heritage.
By creating a film company, or preparing a project or making film is about telling a story ornamented with messages to our society, which shapes the genre we want to develop in film, raising important societal themes, questions and answers.
Cooporation with the strong markets of film industry both in Armenia and outside.
Our company also organizes various workshops and training programs.
We cooperate with successful film production companies in France, UK , USA. In the local market we are in qualiation with the best existing companies working not only for the local market but also for abroad.
BOOMERANG MEDIA.AM has repeatedly received funding from the State itself and other relevant government agencies.
Our films have been selected for the official program of such festivals as 81st Venice Film Festival, Gent IFF, Mar del Plata and others.
